Home!!!
Arrived back in Omaha Friday pm. We dropped the RV off for repairs. We’re home now, trying to figure out what to do with all these rooms.

Wednesday – INDIANA
We love this motor home, until we have to move it. Steve’s an excellent driver, but I still close my eyes during the more stressful times. Can’t wait to be parked again.

Wicked Good —- Bye
With bitter sweet sorrow, we bid a fond farewell to Bar Harbor and our friends here. We put wheels down and head west in the morning. It was a wicked good summer. We met lots of great people, making it hard to say good-bye. However, we are looking forward to being home and surrounded by friends and family.

Update
This week the Queen Mary II and the QE II were in Bar Harbor. Interesting viewing.
We now have a person cooking lobster in the kampground. He’ll sell employees the left-overs at cost. Check out picture of our dinner.
We went to Octoberfest – not what we expected. There was a single German band or any German food. It was basically a chance to sample Maine micro-brews.
Looks like we’ll start our journey home next Monday (10/15).

2008 Gainfully employed
We have accepted a job at the KOA in Port Angeles Washington for next summer. Check them out at http://www.koa.com/where/wa/47128/
The Olympic peninsula and Olympic National Park are among the most spectacular destinations in Washington, and Port Angeles / Sequim KOA is the perfect vantage from which to enjoy them. Explore forests, glaciers, hot springs, lakes, waterfalls and the Olympic Mountain Range, whose majestic peaks are visible from every part of the Port Angeles / Sequim KOA. Ask your hosts about packages to Victoria, B.C., just a ferry ride away.
The Port Angeles / Sequim KOA is a destination unto itself, with loads of fun-filled activities including big-screen movies, ice cream socials and themed hayrides. July and August feature theme weekends, from Rock ‘n’ Roll to Lavender Weekend, held in conjunction with a festival in Sequim, the “Lavender Capital of North America.
