Fall Folliage from Horseback

Eric took four workampers and five horses from the ranch up into the mountains north of Mancos (about 15 miles).  Awesome!

I rode Garth and Steve rode King.  We had a great afternoon and hopefully will get in one more ride before we leave next week.

Snow Storm

We decided to drive the San Juan Highway again, enjoy the fall colors and visit a local hot springs.  We got more than we bargained for.  Got into a snow storm in the mountains – not fun!

We’ve been working extra nights at the stage coach since most of the workampers are gone for the season.  I’ve actually ridden shot gun several times, which is much more fun than working in the kitchen.

Sunday night is our last bus of the season.  Afterwards, we’ll begin to get ready to head home.

Local Area

Went to the Anasazi Cultural Center and the galloping goose in Deloras.  Fall colors are great.

Up, up & away

.  Steve & I went hot air ballooning on Monday morning with the balloon (Gary’s balloon) that we were helping.  What a great experience!
