Homeward Bound – Tuesday 9/21 – Carlsbad NM

Had an awesome visit to Carlsbad National Park today.  It’s off-season so very few people — like having the caverns to ourselves.  We walked down through the natural opening, then did the Grand Room tour.  Spent a couple of hours in the cavern – it was really magical.

Homeward Bound – Monday September 20, Guadalupe National Park

Dropped the RV off in Anthony, TX for a spa treatment.  Stopped in Guadalupe National Park on our way to Carlsbad.  Temperatures much cooler.

Homeward Bound – Tucson, Las Cruces

Enjoyed our weekend in Tucson, although temperature was well over 100.  I don’t know how people live here.  Left early Sunday morning to avoid some of the heat.  Arrived Las Cruces NM around lunch time and spent the afternoon cooling off.
